The Experience commonly known as The Experience Lagos), is an annual, free gospel music concert held at the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos Island, Nigeria. Begun and hosted by House On The Rock lead pastor Paul Adefarasin in 2006, the first concert had an attendance of 70,000 people.
The concert features local and international artists such as Kirk Franklin, CeCe Winans, Donnie McClurkin, Don Moen, Frank Edwards, Nathaniel Bassey, and Chioma Jesus. The Experience is recognised as one of Africa‘s largest musical events. The music score and direction at the concert has been provided by Wilson Joel since 2013
The Lagos Experience 2019 of the House on the Rock took place yesterday, December 6th at the T.B Square with many guest artists in attendance.
The theme of the 2019 Lagos Experience was “Let’s Worship Jesus,” according to a statement by the organisers.
The Lagos Experience 2019 was an all-night musical show involving top music stars in and outside Nigeria.
As noted earlier, the Experience Lagos 2019 had some top gospel artists in Nigeria and outside the country. Artistes such as Sinach, Nathaniel Bassey, Eben, Onos Ariyo, Planetshakers, Travis Greene, Mercy Chinwo, Preye Odede, Tope Alabi, Don Moen, Chioma Jesus, Donnie McClurkin, Sammie Okposo and Todd Dulaney were among the artistes that lit up the stage. Other activities included comedies.
Lagos was set agog as worshippers found their way to House on the Rock Church to have an experience of the ‘Experience’ Concert.
