Many Transgender Persons Now Seeking Help to Return to Original Sex

Apparently so many transgender persons, literally hundreds of them are desperately looking for ways to return to their original sex, according to a Sky News report.

Charlie Evans, who has identified as male for a good 10 years was originally born female. At 28, Charlie now seeks to de-transition.

“The number of young people seeking gender transition is at an all-time high but we hear very little, if anything, about those who may come to regret their decision,” says the report.

After de-transitioning, Charlie went public with her story in 2018 – and said she was shocked by the number of people she found to be in the same position she found herself.

“I’m in communication with 19 and 20-year-olds who have had full gender reassignment surgery who wish they hadn’t, and their dysphoria hasn’t been relieved, they don’t feel better for it,” she says, according to a Sky News report.

“They don’t know what their options are now.” says the report.

She remembers being approached by a young girl with a beard who hugged her after giving a public talk, and then explained that she too was a transitioned woman.

“She said she felt shunned by the LGBT community for being a traitor. So I felt I had to do something.”

Charlie is now launching a charity called The Detransition Advocacy Network, with their first meeting set to be held in Manchester at the end of the month, reports Sky News.

A YouTube video posted on Sky News YouTube page mirrors the struggles of another trans person who spoke to the network on the conditions of anonymity. In this report, her name has been changed to Ruby.
