G. Craige Lewis Says Kanye Entering the Church With His Blasphemy is the Fault of Pastors; the Gatekeepers Are Letting Him in.

Pastor G. Craige Lewis, who is founder of EX Ministries founded the ministry to educate and inform Christians about Satan in order to protect their relationship with God with an eye to the second coming.

Lewis has released a book and series of DVDs, both titled The Truth Behind Hip Hop, where he teaches that hip hop music has affected youth across America by leading them to Satan worship, suicide, and drug use and that hip-hop culture is “the greatest attack on the youth of the world.”

He argues that rap music and hip-hop are not the same, with the latter being a subculture and a religion, not a genre of music. He also preaches about the importance of family and encourages youth on his weekly radio show on KHVN in Dallas, Texas.

Lewis has been criticized as an extremist who hates secular music of any kind and misrepresents the hip-hop culture. He has also targeted Christian leaders, including Kirk Franklin and T.D. Jakes. His ministry has also encouraged the destruction of CDs and other hip-hop merchandise. On his official website Lewis provides responses to critics of his ministry.

In the video below, G. Craige Lewis says the church has opened itself up to allow blasphemy to enter in, thereby weakening the efficacy of the church.

It will be recalled that Kanye West who has in the past referred to himself as ‘Yeezus,’ a name very similar to ‘Jesus,’ saw himself as a type of ‘Jesus Christ.’ A gold life statue of the singer has also been erected in Hollywood boulevard, depicting him as Jesus Christ crucified on a cross. West’s sudden and drastic shift from blasphemous acts to his acclaimed ‘born again’ lifestyle has not been easily embraced, especially by most believers who believe it is a publicity stunt.
